The Moray Drug, Alcohol and BBV Forum

Who are we?
Moray Drug , Alcohol & Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Forum is open to, and broadly represents, all professional and voluntary organisations who are concerned or involved in the provision of any kind of drug, alcohol or BBV support services in the Moray area as well as representatives of service users and their families.

Why are we here?
To ensure the delivery of effective services, in partnership with the Moray Drug & Alcohol Action Team (MDAAT), individuals, statutory and voluntary bodies in Moray with an interest in drug, alcohol and BBV related matters

What do we do?
Provide a public voice for Moray which feeds into local substance misuse planning structures

Provide a focus for information sharing and joint planning
Encourage effective communication between The Forum, the MDAAT and the community
Ensure the work of The Forum is monitored and evaluated
Support the membership to maintain a commitment to the Forum and actively participate in short life working groups, activities and Forum meetings
Are committed to deliver a local Forum Action Plan in line with national and local drug & alcohol strategies

When do we meet?
Six weekly on a Tuesday (dates below) from 12noon until 2pm using dates that allow communication to and from the MDAAT.
