Moray New Futures

Moray New Futures helps people, excluded by a wide range of issues, get ready for work through the provision of personal support and guidance.

 Our clients are unemployed, of working age and living in Moray. Since its launch Moray New Futures has supported 122 clients into employment, training, further education or voluntary work.  

Working in community partnership we seek to:

• Meet the complex and varied needs of our clients
• Use resources effectively
• Develop a "one door" service delivery model

Moray New Futures employs an intensive support worker to:

• Provide client lead, tailored one to one support
• Provide group work, including confidence building, social activities and assertiveness training
• Ensure Co-ordination of services to meet client needs

With Moray New Futures clients are supported to overcome personal barriers to employability and job readiness by

• Building self confidence
• Develop life skills training
• Raising self esteem
• Improving communication
• Making positive changes in life style
